The Comprehensive Group Supports Haitian Relief

As a company whose culture is built on the core value of caring for others and our employees, The Comprehensive Group is collecting donations through payroll deductions, where Comprehensive will provide a matching donation. Donations will be accepted through February 19, 2010. Employees have the option of donating to UNICEF or donating to a church where the money will go directly to helping the family of one of our very own therapists. This therapist’s family was devastated by the earthquake, losing their home and all their personal belongings. We thank our employees for their generous spirit - we truly are the rehab company that cares!

Rehabilitation Agency Accreditation Process

In response to the growing needs for a standardized program of accreditation that meet CMS requirements, the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF) in conjunction with the National Association of Rehabilitation Providers and Agencies (NARA) are developing an accreditation process to submit to CMS for deemed Rehabilitation Agency status. Three of The Comprehensive Group’s management and executive team were invited to participate in this first ever Rehabilitation Agency Accreditation Surveyor Training Program. This is a high honor as prospective surveyors are selected by their peers as respected individuals in the rehabilitation industry. Our congratulations go to: Barbara Kabaker, MS, CCC/SLP, Marlene Kerstein MS, OTR/L and Amy Rozenberg, MBA, MSPT.
